IRI Setup

When it comes to the IRI setup, we advise exchanges to setup at least 3 IRI nodes with a different set if neighbors, and then take the quorum of those nodes when making important state-related API call such as getBalances and getInclusionStates . For other API calls, setting up a single node is sufficient.

When it comes to generating multisignature address in an offline environment, you can simply take the Javascript library, all you will need is your seed, everything else can be done securely with just the library. You can even use the offline environment to sign transactions, and then take the signed trytes online by doing the necessary tip selection and proof of work.
